Let us take you on a tasteful "journey" with traditional Bedouin food and other Jordanian delicacies. Bread, rice, lamb, chicken, olives and olive oil, za'atar, yogurt, tahini, garlic,onions, sage and mint, are just a few of the distinct flavors and ingredients used and served.
Dinner is freshly cooked served in buffet style and the range of dishes is such to suit every diet type.
Nevertheless, if you have any special requests, please let us know in advance so we will cater for your needs in time.
Dinner typically includes meat and vegetables prepared in the traditional Bedouin way (Bedouin barbecue), cooking for hours in a hole in sand called zarb. Arabic pita bread, rice, hummus, a variety of salads and other traditional Bedouin dishes are also served and all these along with the famous Bedouin shay -sage or mint tea- and hospitality, a way of life for all of us in MoonRock camp.
Our breakfast is more than fulfilling, and it includes cheese, eggs, traditional bread, local delicacies, tea and coffee.
